Open frame or enclosure

The A1 is open-frame; the P1S is enclosed. If your material requires specific thermal conditions, check the complete manufacturer guidance rather than treating an enclosure as automatic compatibility.

Different material-feeding systems

A1 uses AMS lite. P1S uses compatible AMS configurations and any required adapters. An accessory from one family should not be assumed to work with the other.
