Which projects is it for?
The CORE One is an enclosed CoreXY FDM printer with a build volume of 250 × 220 × 270 mm per Prusa Research, featuring active chamber heating up to 55°C and automatic ventilation. It targets technical parts that benefit from a stable ambient temperature without relying on a separate accessory.
The steel exoskeleton and CoreXY architecture also aim for speed and rigidity, printing faster than the MK4S lineup while staying within the Prusa ecosystem (PrusaSlicer profiles, Prusa Connect).
Materials and setup
Prusa Research lists PLA, PETG, Flex, PVA, PC, PP, CPE, and PVB in standard configuration, with a hotend up to 290°C (400°C with the optional HT hotend) and a heatbed up to 120°C. The heated chamber makes ABS, ASA, HIPS, and PA easier, since these need more thermal stability.
Multicolor isn't native on the base machine: the MMU3 (up to 5 materials) or the INDX system (up to 8 materials) are added separately depending on the complexity you need.
What the bundle includes or not
Per Prusa Research's listing, the assembled version includes the pre-built printer, a Prusament PLA filament sample, a smooth PEI sheet, the starter handbook, a USB drive with sample prints, and maintenance consumables.
MMU3, INDX, and the HT hotend remain separate add-ons, each priced on its own. Before buying, check precisely what a listing includes rather than relying on the product photo alone.
Alternatives to compare
