The Neptune 4 Max pushes the lineup's nominal volume to 420 × 420 × 480 mm per Elegoo, the largest format in the Neptune 4 family. It targets bulky parts, multiple batches, and workshops that want to stay on Klipper without jumping to an industrial format like the OrangeStorm Giga.
The advertised top speed stays at 500 mm/s, but maximum acceleration drops to 8,000 mm/s², versus 20,000 mm/s² on the base Neptune 4, a logical trade-off given the extra mass of the bed and gantry in motion.
Materials and setup
The nozzle advertises up to 300°C and compatibility with PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, ASA, and nylon per Elegoo, with the same dual-gear direct extruder and titanium-alloy throat as the rest of the lineup.
The heated bed advertises a maximum temperature of 85°C at 25°C ambient, lower than on the other Neptune 4 models, worth watching for materials that need strong adhesion over a large area.
What the bundle includes or not
The box includes the base unit, gantry, spool holder arm, touch screen, and spiral cable per Elegoo's "What's In Box" list, with further items not detailed, 11 and up in total. The advertised net weight is 18.1 kg and gross weight 21.8 kg, worth planning for when it comes to transport and setup.
Like the Neptune 4 Plus, this version adds Wi-Fi alongside USB and LAN per Elegoo, but still ships without a built-in camera.
