Which projects is it for?

The Kobra 3 V2 is a revision of the Kobra 3 with a slightly larger nominal volume, 255 × 255 × 260 mm versus 250 × 250 × 260 mm per Anycubic, about 4% more volume. It targets the same audience as the Kobra 3: beginners and makers who want everyday parts without a closed chamber, with the option to add multicolor later.

The advertised speed stays up to 600 mm/s, with zoned leveling that only recalibrates the area under the model, shortening print-prep time per the manufacturer.

Materials and setup

The printer runs PLA, PETG, and TPU per Anycubic, with a nozzle advertised up to 300°C and a bed up to 110°C. LeviQ 3.0 leveling is backed by a widened Y-axis (from 40 to 60 mm per the manufacturer) for a more reliable leveling-probe reading.

Nozzle sealing is advertised at Kobra S1 level to reduce filament leaks, and a 720p camera is built in as standard for remote print monitoring. The ACE Pro is still needed, and sold separately, for multicolor.

What the bundle includes or not

Per Anycubic's listing, the Kobra 3 V2 alone ships with a touchscreen, spool holder, cable holder, purge wiper, hardware bags, signal cable, several filament tubes, nozzle cleaner, test filament, USB drive, power cords, a wrench set, and the camera module.

The ACE Pro for multicolor is not included in this base bundle and is sold separately per the manufacturer. Check the retailer's listing for whether your offer includes this module before comparing prices.

Before finalizing a purchase, compare the exact spec sheet and box contents listed by the retailer rather than relying only on the product photo, especially for the number of spare nozzles, cables included, and assembly accessories. Warranty terms and technical support can also differ noticeably between Anycubic's own store and a third-party retailer, worth checking before comparing two similarly priced offers. Since filament beyond the test spool is not included, it's also worth budgeting for ongoing material costs as part of the overall setup rather than treating the listed price as the full cost.

Alternatives to compare

For the previous generation in the same lineup, the Kobra 3 shares most of the same features, potentially at a lower price. For an enclosed chassis, the Kobra S1 adds a full enclosure for ABS and ASA.
