Which projects is it for?
The Photon Mono 4 Ultra carries over the same volume as the Mono 4, 153.4 × 87 × 165 mm per Anycubic, with an identical monochrome 10K screen (9024 × 5120px, 17 × 17µm pixels). It targets the same use case: miniatures, figurines, and detailed parts in a compact format.
The difference is speed: with High Speed Resin 2.0, the machine advertises up to 120 mm/h at 0.1mm layer height, a 60% increase over the previous generation per the manufacturer, versus 80 mm/h maximum with standard resin.
Materials and setup
The printer runs standard resin, High Speed Resin 2.0, and a 14K texture resin per Anycubic, each with its own exposure profile. The light source combines a COB chip and Fresnel lens with a uniformity algorithm advertised at 90% or higher.
Failed-print detection monitors anomalies (cracks, detachment, layer separation) and pauses the print if an issue appears per the manufacturer, alongside monitoring of the remaining resin level.
What the bundle includes or not
Some listings pair the printer with a bundle including resin (1kg), an air purifier, a cleaning kit, and a screen protector, but this content varies by bundle and is not guaranteed when buying the machine alone.
A dedicated wash-and-cure station is not included in these starter bundles and remains a separate accessory per Anycubic. Check the retailer's listing for the exact bundle contents before comparing prices.
Warranty terms and technical support can also differ between Anycubic's own store and a third-party retailer. Since resin printing involves ongoing consumables (high-speed resin, isopropyl alcohol, gloves), it's worth pricing those recurring costs before comparing two machines on purchase price alone.
