Which projects is it for?

The Photon Mono M7 is an MSLA resin printer with a 10.1-inch monochrome 14K screen and a 223 × 126 × 230 mm nominal build volume per Anycubic. This larger footprint than the Mono 4 allows bigger batches of figurines or medium-sized parts in a single print.

The advertised 13312 × 5120px resolution, with 16.8 × 24.8µm pixels, targets a minimum molding diameter of 0.15mm per the manufacturer, a level of detail useful for figurines and fine technical parts.

Because the vat and any cured resin remain photosensitive between sessions, the printer works best away from direct sunlight or bright windows, regardless of the built-in cover, to avoid premature curing or discoloration over time. Room temperature also affects resin viscosity, so a stable, moderately warm space makes it easier to match the exposure settings the manufacturer documents for each profile.

Materials and setup

The printer runs compatible 405nm UV resins in MSLA format: high-speed, water-washable, standard, ABS-like, and plant-based per Anycubic, with a speed advertised at 90 mm/h at 0.1mm layer height with standard resin.

The light source combines a COB chip, Fresnel lens, and a uniformity algorithm, with intensity advertised at 4500µW/cm² (±10%). Automatic resin refill and drain, plus automatic leveling, cut down on handling between prints.
