Which projects is it for?
The SV06 Plus ACE carries the SV06 ACE's Klipper base into a much larger 300 × 300 × 350 mm volume per Sovol, built for bigger parts or several objects on one plate.
A speed advertised up to 500 mm/s with 15,000 mm/s² acceleration per Sovol stays high for a format this size, a point that matters on long prints at this volume.
Materials and setup
The nozzle heats up to 300°C and the bed up to 100°C per Sovol, values that cover the PLA, PETG, TPU, and PVA the manufacturer advertises. ABS and some nylons remain possible but benefit from an added enclosure, absent on this open frame.
The planetary dual-gear extruder with a 1:7.5 ratio and strain-gauge leveling at the nozzle tip aim for more consistent extrusion on a plate this size, backed by dual Z motors for vertical rigidity.
What the bundle includes or not
Sovol presents the machine as shipping nearly assembled, with the 4.3-inch touchscreen, spool holder, and some external parts left for the user to install. The exact box contents should still be checked on the retailer's listing.
A built-in camera compatible with the Obico app and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi are advertised by Sovol, useful for monitoring a long print remotely on this format.
Alternatives to compare
For a more compact format on the same Klipper architecture, the same lineup's SV06 ACE is the closest comparison. For an open-source CoreXY aimed at heavier use, the SV08 is worth considering.
