The Creality Hi is an open-frame CoreXY FDM printer with a 260 × 260 × 300 mm nominal build volume per Creality. Presented by the manufacturer as its first CoreXY multi-filament model aimed at family and classroom use, it suits makers who want to try multicolor printing without the budget of a K2 Plus or K2 Pro.
The advertised speed reaches 500 mm/s, with an all-metal die-cast aluminum alloy body and a 95%-pre-assembled build, cutting the setup time before the first print.
Materials and configuration
The open frame steers this machine toward PLA and PETG for regular use, rather than ABS or ASA, which benefit more from an enclosed chamber to limit shrinkage while cooling.
The CFS (Creality Filament System) connects up to 4 units for an advertised 16-color use, but it remains a separate accessory from the base machine: check the retailer's listing precisely to see whether your offer includes it.
What the bundle includes or not
Creality advertises automatic filament reading, auto-leveling, and one-tap pressure advance (PA) tuning, controllable from a 3.2-inch touchscreen or the Creality Cloud app.
Don't confuse the standalone machine with the 'Hi Combo' pack that includes the CFS system: the Hi's spec sheet describes the base printer, with the CFS remaining a separate option to add based on your multicolor needs.
Alternatives to compare
For an enclosed chassis with a heated chamber and a larger volume, the K2 Plus remains the more technical option from the same brand. For a simpler machine with no multicolor ambitions, the Ender-3 V3 KE covers a more standard use case.
