The Saturn 4 Ultra carries over the 218.88 × 122.88 × 220 mm format and 10-inch 12K screen of the Saturn 4, adding tilt-release technology that pushes the advertised speed to 150 mm/h versus 70 mm/h on the standard model per Elegoo. This speed gain targets users printing regular batches of figurines or mid-size parts.
A fast mode and a slow mode can be selected as needed, leaving the option to fall back to more conventional printing for resins or parts that call for it.
Materials and setup
The printer runs compatible 405 nm UV resins, each with its own profile and post-processing steps per Elegoo. The COB light source and Fresnel collimating lens target the same light uniformity as the standard Saturn 4.
As with the Saturn 4, Elegoo specifies that flexible build plates are not compatible with this model, risking throwing off automatic plate detection or damaging the LCD screen.
